Audemars Piguet Wall Clocks
One shape changed watch design forever: the octagonal bezel with its exposed screws. Every Audemars Piguet wall clock in this collection reinterprets that Royal Oak design language as a 35 cm steel-and-glass decorative clock — the most architectural silhouette we make.
Eight colourways, from deep Royal Oak blue over steel to full black, panda, yellow gold and rose gold — two of them with your choice of dial colour. If your room is modern, angular and unapologetic, this is its collection. Browse the clocks above, or read the guide below.

Why order from Clocks Atelier?
We are an independent design studio specialising in watch-inspired décor. Sports-luxury geometry is exacting — which is why we build it in steel.
01
Unique pieces
The Royal Oak look scaled to wall size — octagonal bezel character, integrated-design proportions and grid-textured dial detailing you will not find in a décor catalogue.
02
Worldwide shipping
Tracked international delivery on every order. Destinations, timings and returns are on the shipping and returns page.
03
High-quality materials
Premium 304L stainless steel cases and tempered glass fronts on all eight colourways — a design this geometric only works when the edges are crisp.
04
2-year warranty
Two years of cover on the movement against manufacturing defects. Full terms on the warranty page.
05
Fair prices
The whole collection sits in one tight band, with dial-colour choices at no price difference — you pay for the design, not the options list.

Eight colourways, one icon
Same 35 cm octagonal-bezel design throughout — the choice is purely metal and dial.
Steel 01
Steel & blue
The definitive combination — deep blue dial over a silver case, the pairing that made sports-luxury steel famous. If you want one clock that says “watch culture” instantly, this is it.
Royal blue dial
Steel 02
Steel & black, steel & white
Three quieter steel editions: black dial, black “Luminous Dial” colourway (a styling name — see the FAQ), and crisp white. The most versatile pieces for offices and modern living rooms.

Mono 03
Panda & full black
Black-and-white contrast or total blackout. The full-black edition is the collection’s stealth piece — the octagon reads as pure geometry until you get close.
Black & whiteFull black
Gold 04
Yellow gold & rose gold
Two warm-metal editions, each with your choice of white or black dial at the same price. Rose gold over black is the current favourite for statement walls with warm lighting.

The shape that broke the rules
In 1972 the reigning idea of luxury was thin, round and gold. Then came a steel case with an octagonal bezel and its screws showing — industrial hardware presented as jewellery — and the entire market eventually followed. Half a century later, every “luxury sports” design on the market still argues with that octagon.
That history is why the shape works so well as décor. A round wall clock is furniture; an octagonal bezel with exposed-screw detailing is a reference. Guests who know watches recognise it across the room. Guests who do not still register that the object is deliberate — the geometry reads as design intent, not decoration.
Scaling it up is unforgiving, which is where the build standard earns its keep. The bezel edges have to stay crisp at 35 cm, the grid-textured dial has to hold its pattern under a large pane of glass, and the whole piece has to hang dead level — an octagon shows a one-degree lean that a circle would forgive. Steel case, tempered glass, and a spirit level on hanging day: that is the entire formula.
Eight colourways keep the range honest — steel and blue for the canon, monochromes for restraint, two gold editions for rooms that want warmth. No invented variants, no diluted geometry.
Built for the shape
The Royal Oak silhouette works because nothing about it is soft: the bezel geometry, the exposed-screw motif, the grid-textured dial. Scaling that to 35 cm demands a real material — a moulded plastic ring would kill it. That is why every clock here is 304L stainless steel with a tempered glass front, driven by a silent sweeping quartz movement on a single AA battery.
These are clean time-only dials — no date window, no chronograph counters to pretend about. The geometry is the complication.

Styling the octagon
Style 01
Modern & minimal rooms
The steel editions were made for concrete, glass, black frames and monochrome furniture. Let the shape be the only ornament on that wall.
Style 02
The executive office
Steel & blue behind a desk is the video-call background that watch people comment on. Silent sweep means it never interrupts a meeting.
Style 03
Warm, dramatic spaces
Rose gold over black earns its keep in rooms with warm lamps, dark walls and brass details — the most jewellery-like object in our whole range.
Style 04
The two-clock wall
Pair an octagon with a round dial — a Datejust-inspired or Patek-inspired piece — and the contrast in geometry makes both stronger. Same 35 cm baseline, one centreline.
Choosing your colourway
- First AP-style piece: steel & blue — the icon, and the safest gift for any watch enthusiast.
- For quiet rooms: steel & white or the panda — maximum legibility, minimum noise.
- For drama: full black or rose gold & black.
- Can’t pick a dial? The gold editions let you choose white or black at checkout, same price.
- Want a different language entirely? The Hublot-inspired Big Bang collection is the octagon’s louder cousin; the Panerai-inspired collection is its tool-watch opposite.
Hanging and care
- Height: centre around 160 cm, with 15–25 cm of clear wall above furniture.
- Fixing: stud or rated wall plug — steel and glass deserve better than a picture hook.
- Level matters double: an octagon shows a lean far more than a circle — check with a level, not your eye.
- Battery: one fresh alkaline AA; leakage is excluded from cover, so change it before it dies.
- Indoors only — no water resistance; clean with dry microfibre.
Audemars Piguet wall clock FAQ
Are these clocks made or endorsed by Audemars Piguet?
No. Clocks Atelier is an independent design studio; every piece here is a watch-inspired decorative wall clock designed and sold by us — not manufactured, licensed or endorsed by Audemars Piguet, and not a watch or a replica of one. Royal Oak describes the design language the clocks refer to.
What size are the AP-style clocks?
All eight colourways share our core wall format: 35 cm / 13.8 in in diameter, in 304L stainless steel with a tempered glass front. That consistency means they pair cleanly with any other 35 cm collection on the same wall.
Does the “Luminous Dial” clock glow in the dark?
“Luminous Dial” is the name of that colourway — a dial styled after luminous-marker watch faces — and we make no glow-in-the-dark performance claim for it. If a genuinely readable-at-night dial matters to you, choose a high-contrast colourway like steel & white and give the wall ambient light.
Can I choose the dial colour?
On the yellow gold and rose gold editions, yes — white or black dial, selected at checkout at the same price. The six steel and black editions come as pictured.
Do these clocks show the date?
No — the collection keeps clean time-only dials, true to the sports-luxury look. For a working date wheel, see the Submariner-inspired or GMT-inspired collections.
Are the clocks silent?
Yes — every clock uses a silent sweeping quartz movement. The hand glides rather than ticking, so bedrooms, studies and meeting rooms are all safe territory.
Is the gold real gold?
No — the gold and rose gold editions are 304L stainless steel with a warm-tone finish. You get the jewellery presence of the metal without the price of it, which is the entire point of a decorative object.
Which rooms suit the octagonal design best?
Modern and minimal spaces above all — the shape is the ornament. Offices, lofts, media walls and angular interiors flatter it most; in traditional rooms, the gold editions bridge the gap better than steel.
How does this compare to the Hublot-inspired collection?
Both are bold modern sports designs. The Big Bang-inspired clocks are chronograph-look dials with visible layered detail; the Royal Oak-inspired dials are cleaner and more architectural. Loud room, Hublot; sharp room, AP.
How do I hang it straight?
Use a stud or properly rated plug, centre the dial around 160 cm — and use a spirit level. An octagonal bezel makes even a one-degree lean visible, which is the one hanging mistake this collection will not forgive.
What warranty and shipping apply?
A 2-year warranty on the movement (full terms and exclusions on the warranty page) and tracked worldwide shipping — timings and the returns process are on the shipping and returns page.
What is the best gift pick from this collection?
Steel & blue for a watch enthusiast — the reference lands instantly. For someone whose taste you only half-know, steel & white or the panda read simply as handsome modern objects. For a logo-personalised gift instead, see the custom clock studio.
Eight ways to hang the octagon
One legendary silhouette, eight colourways, steel and glass throughout. Pick the metal, pick the dial, and give your sharpest wall its centrepiece.
