Rolex Submariner Wall Clocks

A Submariner wall clock brings the most copied tool-watch design in history to your wall: a bold graduated-look bezel, high-contrast markers and a dial built to be read at a glance, scaled to 35 cm in stainless steel 304L. Sixteen designs, including the green Hulk and Starbucks colourways, the gold-and-blue Bluesy, and two Sea-Dweller editions.

Where our Rolex wall clock collections range from dressy to decorative, this is the confident middle: sportier than a Datejust, calmer than a Daytona, and with a working date window plus an optional Cyclops lens on most wall models.

Why order from Clocks Atelier?

The Submariner look works because it is disciplined — every marker, hand and bezel mark earns its place. The same discipline has to hold in the build.

01

Unique pieces

The enthusiast colourways gathered in one place — Hulk green, Starbucks green-and-black, the gold-and-blue Bluesy — alongside classic black, full blue, full red and two Sea-Dweller editions.

02

Worldwide shipping

Tracked international delivery on every order. Destinations, timings and the returns process are on our shipping and returns page.

03

High-quality materials

Stainless steel 304L cases with tempered glass fronts on the wall models. A tool-watch dial is all contrast and edges — soft casework would betray it instantly.

04

2-year warranty

Two years of cover on the movement against manufacturing defects affecting normal timekeeping. Full terms and exclusions on our warranty page.

05

Fair prices

Wall models start at the same accessible point as our GMT range, the Cyclops upgrade is a small step, and the famous colourways cost no more than the plain ones.

06

Secure checkout & support

Encrypted card payment through Stripe, and someone who replies when you need them. Damaged in transit? Tell us and we resolve it.

The colourways, from classic to cult

Sixteen designs, one design language. They divide into the classics, the enthusiast greens, and the deep-water editions.

Classic black

The reference point

Black dial, black or steel bezel. The single most recognisable tool-watch look ever made, and the safest choice in the collection — it reads correctly in every room from a study to a kitchen. Available as wall and desk models.

Hulk

The green icon

Green dial, green bezel — the discontinued colourway that became a cult. The most saturated piece in this collection and the one enthusiasts name first. Wall and desk formats.

Starbucks

The green bezel

Green bezel over a black dial — the modern take on Submariner green, nicknamed by the community. Slightly quieter than the Hulk because the dial stays dark. Wall and desk formats.

Bluesy

The two-tone

Gold and blue — the dressiest Submariner there is. The one colourway here that belongs in a formal living room as comfortably as a study, and the natural pick if your room already has brass or gold hardware.

Full blue & full red

The colour blocks

Monochrome blue and monochrome red editions — bolder than the classics, simpler than the two-tones. The red is the loudest thing in the collection; give it a plain wall.

Sea-Dweller

The deep-water pair

Two editions styled after the Submariner’s bigger sibling: the DEEPSEA with its black-and-blue gradient character, and the Sea-Dweller 50TH with luminous markers on black. For buyers who want the dive look with a rarer reference.

The date window and the Cyclops option

Nearly every model in this collection carries a working date wheel behind a real aperture in the dial. On the ten standard wall models you also choose the glass: plain, or with a small magnifying Cyclops lens over the date window for a modest price step.

At 35 cm the date is perfectly readable without magnification, so the lens is about faithfulness rather than function — the raised bubble over the date is one of the most recognisable details in watch design, and it is the first thing an enthusiast looks for. Plain glass keeps the front flatter and calmer; the lens completes the reference.

Two honest limits, stated plainly: the bezel on these clocks is a styled ring, not a rotating dive bezel — and these are indoor decorative clocks, not water resistant, whatever the design language suggests. The one exception on dates: our classic black wall model keeps a clean no-date dial — the choice for purists who prefer the uninterrupted layout.

How to choose your Submariner wall clock

Step 01

Decide how far from classic you want to be

Classic black is timeless and disappears into any interior. The greens are statements that read instantly to watch people. The Bluesy dresses the design up; full red dresses it down to pure sport. There is no wrong answer, but there is a right one for your room.

Step 02

Check the wall’s colour temperature

The greens sit best against warm neutrals, timber and brass. Full blue and the DEEPSEA want cooler rooms — grey, white, concrete. The Bluesy’s gold needs at least one warm echo in the room to look intentional.

Step 03

Pick glass, then format

Cyclops for close-viewed walls and gifts to enthusiasts; plain glass for window-facing walls and minimalists. And if the best spot is a shelf or desk, five designs — including the Hulk and Starbucks — come as freestanding desk clocks in our desk clock collection.

Where it works

A tool-watch dial is the most versatile sports look we make.

  • Home offices and studies. Classic black or Starbucks — legible all day, serious without being formal.
  • Living rooms. The Bluesy earns its place above a console in rooms that would reject a sports clock.
  • Kitchens. High-contrast dials built for at-a-glance reading — exactly what a kitchen wall needs.
  • Watch rooms. A Hulk above the display case is the collector’s in-joke that guests actually get.
  • Gyms and garages. Full red and full blue thrive where the room has energy. Keep them clear of damp.
  • Desks and shelves. Five desk editions for the spots you cannot drill.

Submariner or another Rolex wall clock?

Same build and silent sweep everywhere; the dial is the decision.

GMT-Master

The sibling collection — same date-and-Cyclops formula with two-colour bezels: Pepsi, Batman, Coke, Sprite. Travel colour instead of dive discipline.

Daytona

Chronograph sub-dials and racing character — busier and more technical. Choose it when calm is not the goal.

Milgauss

The stripped-back monochrome cousin, including a full blacked-out build. Tool-watch restraint without the bezel.

Datejust

The dress opposite: fluted bezels, formal character, gold and rose gold. Where the Submariner look would be too casual.

Mounting and care

Before you hang it

  • Respect the greens. Hulk and Starbucks shift character with the light — view your wall at morning and evening before committing, especially under warm bulbs, which deepen green dramatically.
  • Cyclops away from windows. The raised lens adds a reflection; a wall perpendicular to the light avoids it.
  • Allow 55 cm of clear span, above furniture 60–100 cm wide, dial centred near 160 cm.
  • Fix into something solid. A stud or a rated wall plug, never a plasterboard picture hook.

Keeping it right

  • Dive styling, indoor clock. These are not water resistant. No bathrooms, no pool rooms, no covered outdoor walls — humidity affects the movement and finish, and moisture damage is excluded from warranty cover.
  • Set the date properly. On date models, install a fresh alkaline AA, advance the time past midnight to confirm the flip, then set time and date together.
  • Clean the glass only. Dry or barely damp microfibre; take care around a raised Cyclops lens and never spray cleaner at the case.
  • Change cells before they run flat. A weak battery shows first as an uneven sweep. Leakage is not covered.

Submariner wall clock FAQ

Are these clocks made or endorsed by Rolex?

No. Clocks Atelier is an independent design studio and these are watch-inspired decorative wall and desk clocks designed and sold by us. They are not manufactured, licensed, endorsed by or affiliated with Rolex SA or any watch manufacturer, and they are not watches or replicas of watches. Names such as Submariner describe the design language a clock refers to.

Is the clock water resistant? Does the bezel rotate?

No to both, and we would rather be clear about it. These are indoor decorative clocks inspired by dive-watch design: the bezel is a fixed styled ring, and the clock is not water resistant — keep it away from bathrooms, pools and damp rooms. What you get is the look, the working date and the silent sweep, not diving equipment.

What are the Hulk and Starbucks colourways?

Community nicknames for the two green Submariner looks. The Hulk is green-on-green — green dial and green bezel — referencing the discontinued cult favourite. The Starbucks pairs a green bezel with a black dial, the modern green formula. Both are available as wall clocks and desk clocks.

What is the Bluesy?

The enthusiasts’ name for the gold-and-blue two-tone Submariner look. It is the dressiest design in this collection — the one that suits a formal living room as well as a study — and the natural choice if your room already has gold or brass hardware.

Why are there Sea-Dweller clocks in a Submariner collection?

The Sea-Dweller is the Submariner’s deeper-rated sibling and shares the same tool-watch design language, so we keep the two editions — the DEEPSEA with its black-and-blue character and the Sea-Dweller 50TH with luminous markers — in this collection where buyers actually look for them.

Does the date actually work?

Yes — nearly every model carries a functional date wheel behind a real aperture, advancing with the movement like a watch date. The one deliberate exception is our classic black wall model, which keeps a clean no-date dial for purists.

What is the Cyclops lens option?

On the ten standard wall models you choose plain glass or glass with a small magnifying lens over the date window, for a modest price step. At 35 cm the date reads fine either way — the lens is the detail that completes the reference, and the version enthusiasts pick.

What size are the clocks?

Wall models are 35 cm (13.8 in) in diameter; desk models are 25 cm across and 38 cm tall on their stand. For something larger, see our large wall clocks.

Are the movements silent?

Yes. Silent sweeping quartz on every model — the second hand glides with no tick, so bedrooms, offices and recording spaces are all fine.

What are they made of?

Wall models: stainless steel 304L case with a tempered glass front. Desk models: premium metal case with a clear glass front on an integrated stand.

What warranty is included?

A 2-year warranty on the movement, covering manufacturing defects that affect normal timekeeping. Batteries and leakage, broken glass, impact, water exposure, outdoor use and unauthorised repair are excluded. Full terms on our warranty page.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, with tracking on every order. Delivery timings, destinations and returns are set out on our shipping and returns page.
