No. Clocks Atelier is an independent design studio and these are watch-inspired decorative wall clocks designed and sold by us. They are not manufactured, licensed, endorsed by or affiliated with Rolex SA or any watch manufacturer, and they are not watches or replicas of watches. Brand names are used only to describe the design language a clock refers to.

Every clock here is 35 cm (13.8 in) in diameter — one size across all 23 designs. That is roughly a vinyl record sleeve, which suits hanging above a console, sideboard or desk. If you need something bigger, see our large wall clocks.

Yes. All clocks in this collection use a silent sweeping quartz movement, so the second hand glides continuously rather than stepping once per second. There is no audible tick, which is why they work in bedrooms, studies and rooms used for calls or recording.

Every Clocks Atelier clock includes a 2-year warranty on the movement, covering manufacturing defects that affect normal timekeeping. It does not cover batteries or battery leakage, broken glass, scratches, dents, impact or drops, water exposure and outdoor use, or incorrect installation and unauthorised repair. Each clock runs on a single AA battery. Batteries are not always included with shipment, so it is worth having a fresh alkaline AA ready when your clock arrives. A new battery also helps the sweeping movement run smoothly from the start.

A stainless steel 304L case with a tempered glass front. Steel keeps a crisp edge and an even reflection at this diameter — the main visual difference between these and moulded plastic decorative clocks.

A fluted bezel is cut into narrow angled facets that catch light and change as you move past the clock, giving more sparkle and presence. A smooth bezel keeps the same outline with far less visual activity. Fluted suits living rooms and offices; smooth is usually better in bedrooms and smaller rooms.

Contrast matters more than colour. White dials with dark markers and black dials with gold markers stay easily readable in strong daylight. Champagne, gold and fine motif dials look excellent close up but lose definition at a distance in bright light, so they suit hallways, dressing rooms and desks better than a wall viewed from across a large living room.

Centre the dial at roughly 160 cm from the floor, near standing eye level. Above furniture, leave about 15–25 cm of clear wall between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the clock, and choose a piece roughly 60–100 cm wide so the proportions sit correctly.

No. These are indoor decorative clocks and are not water resistant. Avoid bathrooms, unheated conservatories, covered outdoor areas and any wall prone to condensation — moisture can affect both the movement and the steel finish, and it is excluded from warranty cover.

They tend to be. The dial reference is recognisable to anyone who follows watches, and there is nothing to get wrong on sizing or fit. A fluted bezel with a white or black dial is the most widely recognised pairing; a green or grey Roman-numeral dial reads as a more deliberate, enthusiast-level choice.
